Check a coach’s certification.
Enter the certificate number, or scan the QR code on a coach’s profile or a centre’s front-desk certificate. No account, no sign-in, nothing to install.
You will see whether the certification is current, which version of the standard it was earned against, and when it must be earned again.

What each answer tells you.
Certification is live
This coach demonstrated every mandatory safeguarding competency against the published standard, on the date shown, and is inside the renewal window.
Lapsed or withdrawn
The certificate exists but has expired, been suspended or been revoked. Judgement has not been reassessed against the current standard. Worth asking about.
Not assessed here
This is not a mark against anyone. It means the coach hasn’t been assessed by Axio. Ask what safeguarding training they have completed and when.
Scope
What this check does and does not cover.
A current certification means this coach demonstrated the safeguarding judgement expected of someone entrusted with a child, in spoken responses to unseen scenarios, assessed against a published standard on a stated date.
It is not a background check, a police clearance, or a prediction of future conduct. It does not tell you whether this coach is the right fit for your particular child.
Use it as one checkable input alongside the things you can see for yourself: a visible training area, a named safeguarding officer, and a centre that can tell you how to raise a concern.
If something is wrong
Axio cannot respond to an emergency.
If a child is at immediate risk, contact the police or Childline 1098 first. Axio can suspend a certification and record a concern, but it is not an emergency service and cannot intervene.
